I am new to watch collecting, and I'm afraid I've been duped on one of my first purchases. This Omega has a tank style 1-piece 14K gold case and band (no lugs). The face, band and case back are all identified as Omega (Inside case back are the numbers D06751 and 146849. However, the movement is marked Japan-no jewels
S. Epson Corp

Was Epson a supplier to Omega...or has someone replaced the original movement? The watch does keep great time.

No way Omega is selling something with Epson on it. If you have a photo we can figure out exactly waht you got, but for sure the movement is a sham.

Hmm, apparently first try didn't work...let's try posting again. Sorry about the picture quality, my digital doesn't take great close-ups.

Hard to say without a personal inspection, but it does look like an Omega. Maybe someone just replaced the movement out of convenience? or because the original movement was damaged?

I guess that's what happened. I'll suppose from the shape of the movement that it came from a Japanese ladies watch. That must pretty much ruin the collector value. :-(

Trying to get info. re: 1950's Omega gold bracelet watch with unusual design and about 25 tiny diamonds starting on bracelet and going upwards to surround small round face set off of bracelet to the right. Watch has 2 kinds of gold on bracelet ...small chain on both edges and florentined pinkish gold bracelet of rectangular links.Fitted style and watches winder is located on back of watch and has Omega mark.
