Does anyone have any information on the Swiss watchmaker CORESA. The timepiece in question is a chronograph wristwatch made around 1950 in 18k gold. Curiously, it is almost impossible to find any information ot the brand. I have only found one other piece in an auction in Germany.

I too have found it difficult to obtain information about Coresa.
One was sold at auction last year for 190 - Silvered dial & 2 secondary hands. ( image - brown strap)
There are some about. I've seen them on web sites etc

I have an Egona Swiss chronograph that I can not find any info on, but from searching the net, it looks to me that there were a bunch of watches made with different brand names, Like Egona, Erzer, Coresa. they are all 37.5mm case diameter, usually 18k gold case and have Landeron 17 Rubis Mechanical movements!

I would love to know who manufactured these watches and under what other names and when they were made?

Are they rare or collectable?

Someone must know,

Thanks!

These all looks like "chronogaph Suisse" chronos. Very thin 18k cases with brass dust cover, marketed under 30-40 different names. Most had Landeron based movements, some had Venus.
