In the early 30th my great - grandfather loan some money(1000$) to other men.That man has no money to payback the loan. His brother was a director ofsome Parish Wagon company for this region(BALCAN,TURKEY,MIDDLE EAST). So he give this gold pocket watch to my great grandfather to payback the loan. It is a huge(60mm) gold(18 karat) pocketwatch with roman numerals and with hunter case. There is a logo:it is a men head(I think roman men) and under is writing Genius. Inside write: Ancre ligne droite Spiral Breguet 16 RUBIS, CHATON There is IRAN COAT OF ARMS(LION WITH SWORD AND SUN BEHIND) beautifuly engraved. BALANCIER COUPE Levees Visibles Double Plateau Maybe is this pocket watch gift from Iran Embassy? I dont know. It is certainly unusual to find the Iran coat of Arms on a movement and I have not seen it before in such a manner. Watch would probably date nearer to 1900 and producer is Quartier Fils SA.
