I´ve got this tank watch with dial signed "Cartier". The case is part steel, and part gold ? It is engraved outside "Cartier. 18 K GOLD ELECTROPLATED. SWISS". The movement reads "17 jewells" and number 1091, but there is no sign "Cartier" on it. Can this be a genuine CARTIER, being the movement unsigned, or not ? If genuine, what could it be worth ? Thanks.

The watch doesn't look right to me. The movement should be signed Cartier and the ones I have seen are round. The case is also typically gold plate over Sterling silver. Zaf |

I dont think this is good one, like Zaf wrote, i doesnt look right. Nevertheless, a real Cartier dial must have an almost microscopic "Cartier" written on the V at 7 O'clock. |
