I recently purchased a ladies Wakmann watch at an estate sale. On the face is a logo that I assume stands for Wakmann, under that it says Wakmann, further down is 17 jewels and incabloc (?), and finally Switzerland. The back is unmarked except for 10K gold filled (I believe). Could anyone give me any more information about this watch or watch brand. I had never heard of Wakmann. Thanks! | ||

I'm not 100% sure but I believe Wakmann to be the last name of the U.S. Importer of Breitling watches. They imported watches that were nearly identical to Breitlings and put their name on them and also had a line of watches of their own, all Swiss made. If anyone has further info, I'd like to know.
