This is a very collectible model. I believe that it was the first calendar watch produced by Omega. The movement is called a "bumper". That is the rotor doesn't spin all the way around like modern automatics. Instead, it has springs that bump against a fixed plate at the bottom of the movement. You should be able to feel this motion when you wear the watch. The case reference engraved on the inside of the case should be 2627 and the caliber (movement model number) should be 353. The band is not made by Omega, but looks very nice with that watch and might have been fitted when the watch was new. These watches were generally sold only on leather watchbands. These watches were produced from about 1950 to 1953. Here is a vintage ad for that particular model:
