Did Eternamatic EVER have their watch face logo in cursive writing instead of block letters??

The company is Eterna. As far as I know neither ETERNA nor ETERNA-MATIC (on automatic watches) ever appeared in any form other than block letters.

I have a watch with the cursive logo and assumed it was a phony. But I finally got the back off and see that the workings are authentic Eterna. Any idea where I might get more info on this company? Thanks.

The dial may be original with the script Eterna-matic, however, there is also the possibility that the dial has been re-painted. It's really impossible to comment without good pictures of the watch.

There is information about Eterna in print, however, if you are looking for on-line information do a google search for "eterna watch history" (www.google.com).
