I've never bought a classic watch before but I love them. I have the opportunity to buy a late fifties white gold Longines auto, 17 jewel, great condition. It has a new leather band that they put on it and a new crown that is not a Longines crown. It has the original box and papers and is at a watch sales and repair place. They don't deal in these usually though and I want to be sure I'm not getting ripped off. Is $250 too much? Also, they have a new(well, used a few times) movado(which they also don't deal in) museum type for $175 that I'm considering getting to wear. Is that also an ok deal? |
