Hi fellow watch collectors, I would like to introduce myself, My name is paul and I have a passion for wristwatches. I registered with this board a few weeks ago but have never really introduced myself. I have a question for you that I wish you could shed some light on. A few weeks ago I came across a local jeweller that had a few nos watches on display, one watch that struck my fancy was a nos Longines Ultra-Quartz which I purchased at the time. Information on this watch is very slim on the internet, the only information that I was able to find was of a technical nature. It seems that this watch is of some historical significance due to its technology, it uses a very unusual "cybernetic" type of movement. My ultimate question is how rare is this watch and how does its historical significance, if any, translate into collectibility, I'll still continue to like the watch regardless of how its perceived in the watch world. One thing that you've got to like about it is that it "hums just like a tuning fork type watch and the second hand just glides across the dial in a smooth continuous movement. Here is a quick picture of the watch.

Thanks in advance, Paul.
