I found in my trash the other day, an Ingersoll Yankee New York Worlds Fair 1939 pocket watch. The case is missing, the movement is not working and the dial is average/poor. Is it worth to fix it?
I think it is a fairly rare piece maybe 2,000-3,000 made with much less that survive. In very clean condition it is worth $400-500. If you can find the correct case for it, it may be worth fixing.
