I unfortunately do not have a digital camera at the moment, but I still wanted to see if someone could help. I have what looks to be a very old women's watch. On the wristband it says "Gemex" "Made in U.S.A." "Pat. Pend" and "-J-" On the inside of the case it says "Platinum" and "6211" And finally on the movement it says "Glycine W.co" "seventeen 17 jewels" "three 3 adjustments" "swiss" and "ARFS" I was hoping to find the serial number of the movement so that perhaps I could learn more about the time this watch was made, but I haven't been able to find any such thing. Just what I believe is the serial number for the case. Can anyone draw any info from the things I've mentioned on here? Any help would be appreciated. I'm not a collector, I just saved this watch from being thrown away and want to know more about it. Thank you! |
