I have 9kt Audax win-up - plain face, numbers in gold. Looks 50's 60's. Face says Incabloc 17 jewels, Aquaprufe and Audax. Inside case says Denison.

Who are Audax and where are they from - there is no " made in" anywhere on the watch. As far as I know an Audax is a kind of bike race.

Well, a Denison marked case indicates a watch for the British Market. So it was sold in the U.K.

However, I believe the name plate "Audax" to be generic Swiss, like there are 100s of. Your guess of 1950-60 would be correct....
