If it is a Swiss made "generic" pocket watch in a non gold case, value is low, perhaps around $50 or less if it has condition issues. | ||

Thanks for that Zac,its not gold,and has a hairline crack on the face from between three and for oclock,running to seven oclock,if you know what i mean?Anyway,iv been toying with the idea of getting a strong chain,and using it,but it would be in my trouser pocket,are they up to this sort of use today?Or is it likely to not agree with that sort of use,can it take a few knocks? | ||

I don't have any info on Courvosier, it seems to be a circa 1880 watch, that would be my guess. | ||

Thanks Zaf I had been on this site a few years ago and was given some info about the watch but cannot find that info. Thought I would try again. Had been thinking of parting with it, but cannot bring myself to go to ebay. I will post some other pics of watches that I have in my chest, some are old but not working, maybe someone needs parts or can repair. very interesting site and cannot believe the info found here. thanks |
