I found an Illinois watch (pocket) and would like info if anyone has any knowledge.

It is 17 jewels, it says Springfield Illinois Watch with the # 167 next to it. There is a # '5329869' on the inside. It also says 'double roller' inside. On the inside of the cover it ways 'KEYSTONE WATCHCASE' and 'JBOSS'. It is 10K goldfilled and the # '9769577' on it. I believe this belonged to either a grandfather or great grandfather and I would love to find out some information regarding this. Any info or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

A picture is worth a million words when it comes to watches. If you do not have a scanner, take it to your local Kinko's, have some Jpeg images made, and send them along. It would be easy to identify that way.
