Hello: I wanted advice from someone who knows. How good a brand were Baylor and Technos in the 1960s and 1970s??? The reason I ask is that I have been given the opportunity to choose between a Technos date automatic watch, similar in style to a Date Just Rolex from that era, and it says 250m water proof, it is automatic and 17 jewels, the other watch is a Baylor Day-Date, also similar in style, and this one is 25 jewels. Is one Brand better than the other? How good in quality were these brands? Is the difference in number Jewels Important 17 vs 25?? How good were this watch Brands in their time? What did they aspire to coompete against? Omega? I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank You. Otto |
