I never liked quarts watches.
But wath about the Raymond Weil Tradition? Are the watches of good quality? I believe the Tradition is about 200 new.
Are quarts watches considered "poor man's" items?

I don't know about the watch in question, but in general quartz watches are not collectible, as the movement manufacture does not require much artisanship.

More about this fairly young company on www.raymondweil.ch They make automatic watches as well, using good ETA movements as base and then adding at least decoration - don't know about mechanical refinement. Even great companies have often used ETA raw movements, in case you did not know. I think RW design is quite beautiful.
