Hi,

I am fairly new to the vintage watch arena. I have been doing a lot of reading and research over the last few months, and am about ready to make my first purchase. I want to buy a Longines automatic for everyday wear. Preference is for pre-1970s model, 10k or 14k gold. I am not interested in extras such as diamonds, etc. Just a good-looking, solid, reliable vintage Longines. Can anyone suggest particular models I should focus on and approximate price I could expect to pay? Anything in particular I should look for in the description? Thanks in advance.

Maybe a vintage "Conquest" in 14k? Should be around $500 give or take.
