I am thinking of buying a new watch- one that I like but one that will also maintain its value. I am trying to decide between a rolex and a cartier. Does anyone have any opinions on that. I am new here- any help would be appreciated

Rolex, especially if a sports model, will retain its value better than Cartier in general.

I'm thinking the sea-dweller. Is 25% off retail a good price for it? Are they marked up tremendously?

Got me on that one, we're not all that into new watches, but I'd imagine this is something you can easily comparision shop.
