My mom left us her amazing old Mathey-Tissot custom watch. It's marked 14K Gold on both the band clasp and the watch case. It weighs about 45g. It works perfectly, and is over-the-top gorgeous. There's a gold panel that covers the dial face (shown open in image). I've searched Google Images (Mathey-Tissot) and cannot find anything remotely close to this design. Did M-T make custom watches? Here are some photos. Any idea when it was made and if there is a market today for such beautiful work? Here are some photos.

This is likely to have been a custom made U.S. jeweler effort. Value will be pretty much be that of the gold as that completely out weighs the collectability (if any) of the watch. |
