Hi there: I have a (1970s?) Tissot Navigator chronograph that my father gave me years ago--not the automatic version with a date window but rather the stainless steel, black dialed, manual-wind kind with two smaller dials: one for seconds with a white hand and one with an orange hand for elapsed minutes. There is a tachymeter scale around the border of the dial. I have been told it has a Lemania movement in it. Does anyone know which movement it is? I don't have the tools or know-how to open it up, and would rather satisfy my curiousity this way rather than by hammering the case open. ;)

Thanks for any help you can give.

If it has a date it is probably a Valjoux 7734

Hmm. No, it has not date function, unless somewhere behind that black dial it is secretly keeping track of the day. Thanks, though. Is the watch worth anything? I recently spent some money getting it refurbished and wonder whether I shouldn't have let sentimentality get the better of me.
