I've recently acquired this watch, and don't much about it. I'll give the info I can find to help with this request. The # on the inside of it, where the "guts" are is #9940347, on the gold part where it closes there is this #1784. These are the words found on the inside: ELGIN NAT'L WATCH CO., U.S.A. & Safety Pinion & 15 jewels. On the inside cover the #611784, with these words: Warranted, Wadsworth, 25 years. The outer cover on both sides appears to be gold, in several shades. There is a bird, flowers, leaves, and either crosses or fences. It's in good shape, and it still runs and keeps time. I would appreciate any onfo concerning its age, origin, &/or value if possible. Thanks so much for the time. |
