Pocket watch [Gold 18 Kt.] Repeater `Courvoisier Freres, `Chaux de Fonds No.63746 on the dust cover. This No., repeats on the inside of the rear cover case as also dust cover. The terms `Courvoisier Freres, `Chaux de Fonds is also repeated on the movement. However, the dial which show sunken seconds does not indicate any name whatsoever. As can be seen watch is in mont condition. CAN you please help me to trace history of this piece/ its maker???

Very hard to say without photo...does it just show time or does it have complications?

I inherited a working, silver, half hunter courvoisier freres watch, roman numerals and separate seconds dials, no. 49543 and would like to know how I can find out more about it - value etc. Engraved inside "Presented to Sergt. Farr T. Plews by the Staff Sergts & Sergts 44 F. B. R. A. as a mark of respect". Can anyone help / is anyone interested?

I was recently cleaning out my jewelry box (which has gotten quite full) and came across a Borel Ladies Cocktail pocket/pendant watch I had bought years ago. I cannot find one like it on the internet anywhere and was wondering if anyone might know the value? I'll try my best to describe it as my camera isnt working at the moment.
1.5" diameter
Wide 1/4" edge around the face of the watch with a chevron sort of decoration on the edge.
on the back it is blue enamel with a rose painted on it (looks like a customization)
It runs beautifully and is in maybe 8+ out of 10 condition (a few scratches and wear marks)

I don't want to try and pry the back off, as I'm not a professional and don't want to force it. Any help with this would be great.

I have a pocket watch that is in braille so therefore no crystal. I do not know how to get the back off to check any other info. The face does say swiss made. 17 jewels, and has some type of logo aBf. I guess my thinking is mostly that it is unique because it is braille. Input would be appreciated.
