I'm doing some research for a friend thats looking to buy a vintage mechanical swiss watch for his better half. I've suggested a few swiss brands such as Oris, Bernus, and Eloga and he's keen on the Eloga swiss watches. I managed to find some useful information about the swiss company from the Official website but I've not come across much information for the ladies range from 1950s-70s.
Due to its simplicity and elegance (its 18k white gold and adorned with real diamonds!) this vintage watch is a timeless piece. The price range of Eloga watches vary significantly from the other models thats listed on the market. My question is what sets this particular model apart from the others? Is it because its rare, its condition or because its vintage. Please shed some light into this from a collectors point of view. Thanks
Something like that would be worth the scrap value of the gold & diamonds. It would have very little, if any collector following. I don't know what drugs the seller is taking to think it has that kind of value.
