Hi, I am new to the vintage watch collecting. I was wondering if you could tell me if the following watch is authentic or fake or parts put together. It's a 1961 Rolex Oyster Gold Capped with honeycomb dial. Thanks!

It looks real to me. For sure the movement and back are real. The hands and sweep second are probably replaced, that's why it looks funny. |

Thanks for your reply. The seller also gave this info regarding this piece: Oyster variant with art deco spearhead batons, original dauphine shaped hands, winding crown fully signed with a large coronet emblem. He also states that this piece mimics the Rolex Tropical concept. |
