Ladies Bulovas are usually worth near melt value, typically under $100.

I have a 14kt 1972 N2 series Bulova mens wristwatch. It is 30 Jewel selfwinding. The watch is in near mint condition and has an inscription on the back. Can you tell me the monetary value of the watch, and does the inscription hurt the value.

Thank you.

In the $250 range. The inscription doesn't hurt the value, it just makes it harder to sell.

I have a vintage SEMCA watch. It is enclosed in a square, hard leather case. Following is all the information contained on the watch.

1. SEMCO Seven Jewels on face of watch

2. Calendar inset on face of watch, described on the back of the watch as a 22 year automatic calendar. Dates are set by sliding knobs on back of watch.

3. The word "Swiss" imprinted on the back of the watch.

4. Wind-up knobs on back for time and alarm.

Any information on the value of this watch would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Deb Porter

Sounds like a lowish value watch to me. Usually anything with 7 jewels is pretty cheap.

Worth very little. It's not gold and it's a small ladies. There is very little demand for such watches at the moment.

I don't know sorry. If it doesn't have a brand name, I'd imagine it is inexpensive.

Hi: I have an old pocket watch that came from my Great-Aunt's estate. I think it was her mothers which would make it early 1900. Watch appears to be real gold. The face is stamped Lambert Bros. It does not work. Can anyone tell me what it's worth and should I have it fixed to up its value? Thanks!

I am not familiar with the brand, unless the movement is made by an expensive brand, the value will be close to the scrap value of the gold.

I have an unusual Wakmann 17 jewel ladies watch with a 14k gold bracelet. It needs cleaning, but the mechanism does work. It does not keep time needs cleaning and repair. The watch is stamped with "Wakmann . . Co 17." Where can I have it repaired in the LA area? I believe that it is genuine. It weighs 43g.

This is my first post, so If I'm doing something wrong, please forgive me.

I have an old Bulova mens watch. It appears to be
old and at one time, I had it serviced and it runs good.

Problem is, I can't identify it. I am beginning to wonder if it is genuine. The markings on the
watch movement are barely visible and I can find
no where on the movement where it says "swiss".

I bought it at a gun/knife show about in 1992 and
probably paid too much for it. ($100). The numbers on the back of the watch begin with 47, and I assumed it was made in 1947. Then, I learned that you have to look at the movement to
positively identity this watch.

I well try and upload some pictures so someone
knowledgeable can tell me what I have.

Thanks
