i just bought a ladies bucherer watch. the dial has what looks like an emblem at the top, bucherer below it and 17 jewels. it came with 8 interchangable gold (5 different designs), red enamel? dark blue and powder blue decorative covers that fits over the watch. each one has an inscription "plaque G 10 then SAP in a square. the back of the watch has the numbers 5 1277. the stem has the initial B on it. i also have 5 interchangable watch bands that came with it. they did come in a bucherer case that looks like it does belong to the set. i bought on ebay and always wonder if i'm getting the real deal. does anyone know what plaque G 10 means? gold plate? 10carat gold? i'm sorry i do not have a picture of it now. i will need to borrow a camera and will post a picture later. any info now would be helpful. any idea the worth? |

Hello, It looks real to me, though I have not seen the particular model before. "Plaque" means "Plated". Not sure what G10 is but it might have something to do with how thich the gold plate is applied the underlying metal. Value wise, I'm not sure either, but guessing maybe something around $250? Seems to be an interesting set. |
