My gut feeling is that this is a fake BelAir watch. The "BelAir" script on all the ones I have seen is different than this one. The back says "Assembled in USA from Swiss Parts". The number on the back is 965.102. The watch is very nice looking - so if worth it, I would have it repaired.

Does it matter? Belair is a really cheap nameplate. It doesn't even look fake to me.

Thanks for your quick and honest response. All I was looking for. Won't waste money or time on this watch.

You're btter off buying "the best you can afford", Belair is not a collectible brand. Even $5 would be wasted.
