I recently purchased this watch in Bulgaria and was curious to know if anyone has ever seen anything like it. Is it real?

Hard to say what that is. It doesn't follow any of the nomral German markings. I suspect it's more or either a commemorative or a lesser fake. But who knows for sure as I have not seen one like it before.
