Seems like I posted this the first time in the wrong area -- so this is a duplicate posting -- hopefully I got it right this time!

Anyway -- Hi - What a great site! I have a question on authenticity for a woman's Cartier Tank watch. This watch was a gift given to me in the mid 1970's or possibly very early 1980's -- my memory is a bit bad here. I only wore it for a few years and it has not been worn for at least a decade or more. I was thinking of selling it, but after doing some research, I question if it is authentic or not -- mainly because it does not have a jewel on the crown -- and I have not seen any other Cartiers like this. It is a manual wind. The strap is original -- but in pretty bad shape. I have included some pictures. Thanks so much!

I think it looks OK, with a movement shot we can tell for sure. However, it's not all that expensive a watch either way as it is gold plated....
