Good evening Zaf, This is the Longines Curve Rectangle I posted earlier -- I just got it and cracked it open. I read the movement # wrong by 1M, or 3-8 years too young. Clearly, if this is a redial, it's an old one. The position of the second register is a bit off in its recess, and there is a certain liberty with number placement -- though I suspect in '37 this was all hand work. It is refinished. The print on Longines is generally very crisp. This is their hey day. |

i've found that the quickest "tell" is the minute chapter at 6 o'clock; if it looks like it was done with a crayon, or magic marker, compared with the rest of the printing, it's probably a refin. also, the longines logo is plenty rough and bleedy... |
