Case numbers date this 14k Universal at 1945.

The whole watch - case, dial and movement appear in very good shape. The case shines with only a few superficial scratches, yet the case edges are 'new-sharp', as if it has not been aggressively polished.

The dial appears accurate, with no off-line hour marks, and minute gradient is symmetrically and evenly located. At high magnification, the line quality does break down...

Zaf -- from your experience and gut feeling, does the dial appear 'original' or refinished?
Thank you, as always, and best regards.

Looks like a redial to me.

Thank you again.

I biased that direction as well.. and sent it back.

Pretty piece to the naked eye, though...

Best regards

It is a redial. Original dial that old has patina, sometimes dirty, fading etc...
