Good morning.

Is there any rational reason (collaboration) to find a Solvil & Titus movement in a (likely late-40s) Ulysse Nardin case?

It's a watch I listed. I doubt it's the original movement to the watch, but it fits perfectly, so it's probably the same caliber which opens the possiblity up that it's only a bridge that has been replaced.

Call it a spring clean out.

Zaf! I didn't process the classicwatch*com.

To me, the movement appears perhaps younger than the '40s. I'd love to take a shot at an original. the Nardin movements are quite elegant in their engineering.

Forgive me if you were ignoring it, as I had perhaps posted too often, but how did you like my cricket?

Maybe the Nardin is 1950s. I don't know.

Vulcain looks fine, careful not to break the lug if you plan on trying to bend it back, it will probably need some heat first.

I have about 20-25 lbs of watches I'll be auctioning off at no reserve. They're what is left over from a British estate, but they'll all have issues varying from minor to major.

A lot of it is junk, prolly good as practice watches, but there are some potentially nice items. The good stuff will go on classic.

Zaf -- do all of your pieces go for sale on Finer Times as well as Classicwatch?
