Is this dial original? Is it correct? Every other Futurematic I have seen has the word Futurematic right under LeCoultre. This one has it on the bottom half of the dial (along with the fact that it is in a handwriting font, which I have never seen before).

Looks OK to me.

There are a lot of dial variations with these models and several different fonts used for the name.

I have a porthole model that uses that font style and the serial number is close (although a different caliber). I'm guessing it's one of the later versions, towards the end of the run in the late 1950's.

Prices have been all over the board lately, but that one seems in the range...for now.
