It looks real, maybe 1980s, not all that desirable.

Any info on this LeCoultre ? if it is one? It is a one piece case, Back says "use 1280 wrench", 10k Gold Filled" I believe that is dates to around 1973 as it has a personal inscription with that year. Any info on movement would be appreciated since I haven't had it opened yet. Unsigned crown. Also runs very slow but regular.

This is a Nordam watch. Its age and history is little known. Mother bought it for Father in early 1960s, who never used it. It is in mint condition. The watch was passed onto me by
Mother recently. On the face of the cover, is a woodsman/hunter, carrying a rifle, and blowing some sort of whistle. In the foreground are two hunting dogs. The hunters hat appears to be British. The balance of the carving appears to be trees/brush/bushes. On the rear of the cover, is simply sculptured flowers in the middle, and swirls all around it. The covers metallic substance is unknown, appears to be gold.

The timepiece is unremarkable, and states antimagnetic near the center. The Nordam name is also on the face. There is attached a 12-inch gold-colored chain, with belt clip.

Can anyone provide an approximate date this watch was manufactured, and its value?
Also, whether this Nordam is a well-known pocket watch manufacturer, or that it is Swiss made? Any other details will be most helpful. All I can add to this is that the watch was purchased from a Montreal, Quebec rare watch dealer, which gives the assumption that it may have been previously owned. It is in perfect working condition, and is in pristine shape. Thank you for taking the time to look into this, in advance. Sincerely, Gunny

Other than possible sentimental value,
it appears to be a very inexpensive watch
to me, sorry.

Say $700-800. Looks like it needs some work to be nice.
