Hi,
came across my grandfather's watch recently - a gold-cased hunter watch with the name "August Erselius - Berlin" on the face and Case. The quality is "nice" but I wouldn't say top-rung. Can anyone tell me about this maker or his watches please. All I know is that he was born in 1900 in Berlin. The movement has at least 10 jewels, but no markings. Is the lack of markings a bad sign in terms of it's attractiveness to collecters?
thanks.
