Stainless case with snap back. Bezel has timer tab (metal triangle on bezel Ala Hanhart), sub seconds register at 6 o'clock and the Name "Protex" under the 12.

Thanks in advance,

Kurt.

This is not necessarily a military issued watch, it has incabloc shock protection (invented mid 1930s) and judging from the rest of the movement it was made in the 1940s. I'd say value is about $300, but just guessing here.

It may be a piots watch, but not of the U,S, miliitary. If it was the back would read: AF U.S. Army Type A-11 Spec#XXXXX Ser.NumberXXXXX Mfr Part number 2114 ORD #XXXXXXXX Manufacturers name. My issue watch was mde by Elgin. Face would be black and numerals UV activated
