Hello, if it is supposed to be a WWII piece, I would say no, it is not genuine (just on gut feeling), if it is supposed to be a 1950s or 1960s commerative watch of a WWII event, then yeah it is OK. |

I recently bought this watch, I believe its a military watch from the thirties. Nickel case 37mm x 43mm - 20mm lugsize pocket watch style hinged back, no markings anywhere on the case or movement. turning bezel,Chronometre VIS WATCH on dial, telemeter in 20 kilometers -speedscale 20-1000 km.L�wenthal chrono caliber with one pushbutton on top. does anybody knows what VIS WATCH stands for ?? thanks, Andrew

Hi there, nice piece. I'm not sure what VIS stands for, probably just the brand name. One of many Swiss brands that have disappeared. |
