Dear All, I have this watch (pictures below) and I believe it is a genuine JLC as it has been passed down my family. I think it stems from WWII and may be British or German in origin. It still works fine including the seconds hand (when I remenber to wind it up) I realise the internal workings will ultimately determine its worth but could anyone give me a potential range of values. It also seems to have a Bulova strap which suggests that the original strap may have gone missing. Thanks and kind regards

It's British, at the end of or just after WW2. They're seeling between $1500 and $2500 depending on condition, venue and if is a private or a dealer buying. etc. |

Dear Zaf, Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated. Just out of interest what do the numbers on the back of the watch mean. Also I am based in England. Is the market likely to be better here or in the US? Thanks and kind regards Ticker |

I think you will get more money for it in the UK. If you're getting low balls, then let me know and I will help you from the USA. |
