It is probably a German "D. H." watch. Any pictures? |

Hello, I've got two pocket- watches in my possesion. Both with Nazi- symbol's on them. The first watch (1 to 5) has the swastika on the outside and on the inside. And the other watch (a to e) is in a box with the Nazi- Olympic sign of 1936 and the olympic rings. Inside the box is the pocket- watch with the German Nazi- eagle/ swastika. On the back of the watch is the Nazi- olympic sign once more and the character's SS! I hope somebody can help me with some information. Are they original and that is the story? And are they of any value? I hope to hear something.

I don't know about the Olumpic watch. It could be real. The second watch is most likely NOT a genuine "issue" military watch. I've see a lot of these made to fool people into thinking they're of Nazi origin, but they end up being Russian fakes. It could be something made privately, but it not a watch that would have been issues to soldiers. |

Thanks for answering. This weekend I'll go to my jeweller and he'll open the watches to see the inside. Maybe that will give some more answers. I shall post those photo's as well. Thanks already. |

I recently bought a pocketwatch at the flea market in Nuremberg, Ge. I don't know if it the real thing or not. It appears to white gold with yellow gold on the outer edges or bezel of the case. It has some markings on the inside of the back case which looks like the number 0800 in a rectangular box. It has a crown and looks like a 1/4 moon or a bird on the left side of it. Then it looks like about a 5 digit number at the bottom of the case, I can't quite make out the numbers. And it looks like there are some other numbers or letters on the outer left edge of the case. The face has Leibstandarte at the top. It has what appears to be Adolf Hitlers name across the center and Waffen ss and 1943 at the bottom. Could you let me know if this may be original or not? If it is, could you give me an idea what it might be worth? It winds up and runs and keeps good time. It has scatches and dents. But appears to be in pretty good condition if it is, in fact, a 1943. I'll try to attach a couple of pictures. I hope it is the real thing. I forked out some pretty good euros for it. Thanks

Almost anything that has Nazi "memorobila" on the dial is made post war as a "fake collectible", may of which are Russian made, so I doubt this is the real thing. |

Neither are genuine nazi watches. I've seen both or or something similiar in bazars, fleamarkets, or on online eastern european websites in poland, hungrary, and the slovak and czech republics. These are usually produced in the ukraine or russia. Then they wait somewhere at some market for a sucker from the west. |
