You use the "Upload Attachment" button to load your picture (jpg type file) from your computer to the classicwatch site. Follow the instructions there. There is a limit on how large the picture file can be.

Thanks for the answer. The limit is there because these images are saved on my server. If everyone uploaded 10 Mb files each time we'd quickly run out of space.

Hi B, the file needs to be a .jpg to begin with. What type of file are you trying to upload, what is it called?

My camera gives me a choice of three JPG settings: Fine, standard and basic. Which shall I choose?

Try basic. Your camera should also have a resolution setting, for the purposes of the forum, lower is better.

When I shoot a watch and load it into my computer there is no URL (http://www) attached to it. Why is that?

Definitely. RAW is the most "raw" picture format (hence it's name) and will produce enormous file sizes. Switch it to .jpg. Unless you're a professional photo guy, you won't notice that much difference anyways.

When you save a photo to your computer it's saved as a file. A URL is a location of a site somewhere else (i.e. not on your computer). So, what you're looking to do, is take a photo, save it as a .jpg somewhere on your computer, then using the "Upload Attachment" button, you can upload the picture from your computer to the forum.

You should be trying to upload bob.jpg, not bob.htm.

bob.jog is the picture, bob.htm is the web page which the picture is located.

I was wondering what this picture was so here's bob.jpg from the page: artkramer.blackapplehost.com/Bob.htm. As zaf stated, just upload the jpeg picture file bob.jpg
