What is this watch appraising for?I am trying to find out the value about this watch." 14 KT gold, Longines Swiss, Limited Edition (only 200 made) , 17 Jewels(unadjusted), Bi-Centennial Pocket Watch. This time piece is in pristine condition and keeps perfect time. The eagle on the front of the case is made up of 38 diamonds set in white gold. The large circle surrounding the eagle consists of 50 rubies, and the rays immediately above the eagle contain 13 blue sapphires. Around the outside of the circle are the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" on top and the dates 1776-1976 at the bottom. The face of the watch is platinum-colored; Hour and minute hands are yellow gold. External markings on the back of case are 14 Kt Gold, which # of 200, and Limited Edition. Internal markings on the watch are the numbers L847.4, 52631012, and BC6110, as well as Longines Wittnauer and 14 KT Gold. The case measures 41 mm. in diameter and the face measures 26 mm. in diameter. The weight of this watch is 39 dwts inclusive"  |

As a watch, probably $1600-2000 type thing. It will depend on the gold and stones. It may however be worth more as a bicentennial collectible. I don't know for sure. |
