I have an Omega 53 that I would like to get restored to its original condition. I believe it is a 'thin arrow' design. I say this because it has a much thinner, straighter arrow than I have seen on fat arrow deigns but I haven't actually seen a picture of a thin arrow one to confirm. The watch is in generally good condition but I would like to get it tidied up to as near original condition as I can. The black face has numerous tiny rust-like spots on it, the luminous hour markers are quite grubby, the luminous bit of the minute hand has a bit missing and the glass has about half a dozen hairline cracks to it. Are there reputable places that can clean/restore my watch, preferably with original parts? Thanks in advance. |

Relumning should not be a problem, but if the dial is bubbling, there isn't much you can do. Do not refinish the dial as you'll loose a lot of value. I can restore the lume, the movement and the crystal if you want. Contact privately, thanks. |
