I have a German WWII Luftwaffe Wrist Watch Chronograph made by Glasshutte. It had been restored, except for the the hands which need re-luming. Can anybody supply me with names of companies or individuals in the U.S. which can re-lume watch hands and are known to do a good job?
Thanks for your help

I can do it if it part of a servicing, otherwise it's probably too much of a hassle as you still either need to take the bezel off or drop out the movement.

Thanks for your reply Zaf. Can you give me any details what servicing entails? Do you think that the watch after reconditoning and repair a few years ago and just sitting around, needs servicing?

If the watch was serviced 2 years ago then you're probably OK for another 2-3 years. As far as servicing we completly take the watch apart, clean evey part, oil & lube as needed and put it back togther and electronically time it for 2-3 days.

If there are no inherent problems with the watch around $400. Hairpspring, balance work or rust can add to the figure.
